Bella Voce Camp Terri E. Foster, principal teacher Bella Voce Camp anticipates its second year of engaging serious solo singers. This camp is designed for rising 9th-12th grade students. The camp curriculum will include study of Vocal Literature: English, Italian, German and French, the study of Vocal Pedagogy: Resume Prep, Breathing and Vocal Mechanisms, Vocal Health, the study of Diction: Use of IPA (International Phonetic Al
phabet), English, Italian, German and French, and Theory for Singers: Rhythm and Pitch Basics, Interval Recognition, Solfege. The
camp will include two Private Voice Lessons with principal teacher, Terri E. Foster and two Master class opportunities with faculty
Summer Vocal Camp Dr. Louie L Bailey , principal teacher This intensive day camp will involve daily choir rehearsals, music theory, group voice instruction, audition preparation, rhythm and time for outdoor activities. The camp is for all singers who will be entering the 4th-8th grades in the fall of 2008. There is no audi tion required, all registrants will be accepted. The weeks work will be presented at a concert at 5 PM on Friday of the week which is free and open to the public. A completed registration form and fees are due no later than July 15, 2008. Camps will take place on the campus of the Ursuline School for the Performing Arts.The camp will travel to Six Flags on Wednesday for a group outing.

Lascito Coro (Legacy Choir) LYC/SHA All-Female, Adult Alumni Choir The purpose of Lascito Coro is to unite the alumni of Sacred Heart Academy (SHA) and The Louisville Youth Choir (LYC) by developing the only all-female adult choir in the Metro. Not only filling an unmet artistic need, but to also utilizing the choral art form, continue to demonstrate throughout Kentuckiana the SHA core values of leadership, reverence, community and service and the LYC vision—“LYC creates passion for music!” Lascito Coro rehearses once a week for eight weeks from the end of May to the first of July with three Sunday afternoon conerts in July. There is no audition for membership.
