for singers in grades 4-12.

Audition Preparation

Singers in the 4th-12th grades who audition for membership in The Louisville Youth Choir should be prepared to perform the following for the audition:  sing scales to determine the singer’s vocal range, sing with music and accompaniment either The National Anthem or My Country ‘Tis of Thee, and clap rhythm patterns by reading a musical line and/or by repeating rhythmic patterns that are clapped for them (echo clapping.)

Chorale (4th-9th grades) ~ 5:00-6:20 PM

Les Chambres (6th-12th grades) ~ 6:25-7:40 PM
Auditioned Advanced Treble (Unchanged/Changing) Voices

Kantorei (8th-12th grades) ~ 7:45-9:00 PM
